Lest We Forget.....



Today, let us honor those who in service to this Country sacrificed their very lives in its defense. Those who died in far away places, and also in military hospitals right here in our County who now rest, forever silent in gardens of stone.


God Bless them all, every one of them....................

We have Yom HaZikaron here in Israel it is a solemn day, with a nighttime and morning one minute long siren blast. All public buildings, including restaurants and movie theaters are closed.

Sadly, here in the US the holiday has largely turned into an excuse to party and get drunk. A lot of the younger people don't even know the meaning of the day. I wish ours was more like your Yom HaZikaron to be honest.
